Mark your calendars! The 15th Annual Preschool & Parenting Fair will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 from 9am – 12 pm at the newly constructed Pleasant Hill Senior Center (233 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523). Representatives from 40 local area preschools will be present to share their programs and philosophies with the public. Ask questions, learn about the programs, and get a head-start on your preschool search. This Preschool Fair is FREE and open to the public, so bring your friends! We will also feature booths for community organizations including classes for kids, health organizations and learning activities for your family. This FREE event is sponsored by the Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek Mothers Club and co-sponsored by the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District. 4th ANNUAL MUNCHKIN MASQUERADE PARADE

What is it? Munchkin Masquerade Parade is our annual Halloween Parents’ Resource Fair! We invite all of our local businesses and vendors to attend and table to share their services or product with our families while YOUR little one enjoys the event in costume as they trick or treat from Vendor to Vendor! We also have a musical/storytime demonstrations throughout the event AND cap it off with our Munchkin PARADE where the kids get to show off their costumes and march around! We will also have a Photo Booth on site to capture the little ones/families in costume. It’s a FAMILY FRIENDLY and SAFE trick or treating environment, perfect for little babies and toddlers FIRST Halloween or they can enjoy it as an additional celebration of this fun holiday, hope to see you there!

Concord, CA December 9, 2012 The third annual Super Holiday Boutique is happening in Concord, CA Sunday, December 9th from 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Rd, Concord. This free event will offer one stop shopping for everyone on your list. Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of holiday gifts, pictures with Santa, entertainment, live music, free gift bags, food, a fun children’s activity zone, and over 80 vendors.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to find unique gifts and support small businesses in the community,” said sponsor Lynne Dahl with Isagenix. “This day is designed to celebrate everything wonderful about the Holidays,” she continued.

This free event will also include a raffle with extravagant gifts being given out every 30 minutes. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to charity.  250 tote bags will be given out at the start of the event. These reusable bags will include samples and promotional gifts from vendors and valuable coupons. Santa will be there for pictures with children.

The Super Holiday Boutique will be the largest event of its kind in Contra Costa County. It will be presented by Everything Kids Guide, a local resource magazine for families. “We’re bringing together crafters, small business owners, direct sales professionals, massage therapists, photographers, and much more all in one place,” said Everything Kids Guide publisher, Hope Desroches.

Brentwood Family Fun Day

A celebration and marketplace for families!

Brentwood, CA June 23rd 2012 The fourth annual Brentwood Family Fun Day is happening at the Sunset Plaza in Brentwood Saturday, June 23rd from 10:00 – 3:00 p.m. The event will be locally sponsored by a variety of small and home based businesses from Brentwood, Antioch, and Oakley. Activities will include a bounce house for kids, crafts that children can make and take home, pony rides, petting zoo, shopping for Mom and Dad, a playful clown, food and drinks, live performances and much more!

Moms, dads, grandparents and children are encouraged to come! This day is designed to give everyone in the family a fun opportunity to get active and encourages play and learning together. There will be a large array of information, ideas, and ways to make the whole family feel special!

Everything Kids Guide is organizing this event, along with partners Everything Brentwood, The Tumble Time Bus, and Jumpy Bunch. “In the first year of planning for Family Fun Day there were not a lot of affordable options for families to make lasting memories and have fun, so this event gives local families a really special opportunity to have a great day they will always remember and admission is free.
